The Winnipeg-based trio’s rhythm section—drummer Jodi Dunlop and bassist Corey D Hykawy—erupts like Pop Rocks and vodka. Vocalist Stefanie Blondal Johnson’s blood-curdling wails and breathy singing feels attractively dangerous, like a warning hazard sign you can’t help but ignore.
