DOMINIONATED’s PRESS PLAY artist for October is Cain Price. Originally from Calgary, Price’s base of operations has been Vancouver since he was 18. For PRESS PLAY, Cain shares a recently record song called “Truth,” which gets its official release in December and will be included on an upcoming EP, set for some time in 2022:
“Truth” is my latest and loftiest song to date. Before this, all my music was recorded in my bedroom and mixed by my good friend Cameron. But when recording “Truth,” I travelled to Victoria to record with Connor Head at Catalogue Studios. What came out was a track that features live strings, huge drum sounds and acoustic piano — an instrument that I’ve played for years but hasn’t yet made an appearance on any of my tracks yet.
